The Forces of Nature Series

The Forces of Nature Series

The laws of physics and the Universe we live in comes under four distinct forces that govern all of nature and reality.  All of these forces are evident and observable across both branches of classical physics; relativity and quantum mechanics. They are also called the four fundamental interactions, in short they can't be reduced to more basic interactions.

I must note that the quantum mechanics series did not include the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle or the Pauli Exclusion Principle. The reason for this was because I want to tell more about the interactions between particles first before going deeper into already covered topics.

The four main forces are; the strong nuclear force, the weak nuclear force, electromagnetism and gravity.  Their magnitude and behaviour vary greatly.

The most controversial of these interactions is gravity which is the weakest by far. The strong, weak and electromagnetic forces deal more specifically with the interaction between particles. Spin, electric charge and distance all play their part in these interactions.

Although these interactions seem somewhat abstract, they govern all movement and reality throughout the Earth and the far reaches of space and time.
